As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and Certified Health Counsellor, I have been living, studying, and working in Vancouver, BC since 2002. During this time, I have been fortunate enough to receive extensive post-secondary training from the University of British Columbia, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and am always striving to continue my personal and professional growth.

In addition to private practice, I am currently an instructor at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, regularly working with the branch manager to update course curriculum as well as providing consistent feedback to students. I am also now in the process of launching a whole foods catering company, Illuminate Creative Event Catering, offering gluten-free, vegetarian/vegan meals and hor’douvres, and regularly cater events for Vancouver’s yoga and dance community.


My passions lie primarily in the connections between mental health and nutrition, mind-body nutrition, and disordered eating patterns. Throughout my own journey, I have struggled with weight and body-image, depression, and anxiety, and know all too well the impact that these and other imbalances can have upon one’s life. Eventually, I came to understand that food is so much more than fuel; physically and energetically, we literally are what we eat.

My approach is one of balance, and I do not beleive that there is any one diet that will work for everyone. In addition to diet, we will look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? It is my belief that, given the appropriate tools, the body knows how to heal itself. I have been described by clients as being very approachable and as having a warm personality, and I genuinely care about every one of my clients.

In my free time, I love spending time in nature, playing dress-up and designing costumes, practicing yoga, and studying/performing Tribal Fusion Belly Dance.
